Doordarshan plans to launch "DD International" to present "India story".
- To project India’s point of view globally on contemporary issues of both global and domestic significance.
- To tell the India Story to a global audience.
- It also intends DD International to be the "authoritative global media source on India through credible, exhaustive and accurate global news service".
India ranks 3rd in "Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index".
The observations are as per the 57th EY Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index (RECAI) released by EY globally.
US and China are in the first and the second spot, respectively.

- Target is to produce 3000 metric tons of oxygen per day.
DRDO lab develops antibody detection-based kit "Dipcovan".
- The kit can be used for sero-surveillance for detecting the presence of Covid antibodies amongst the population.
- Sero surveillance is conducted to ascertain the spread of Covid-19 in an area.
- Kit can detect both spike as well as nucleocapsid (S&N) proteins of SARS-CoV-2 virus with a high sensitivity of 97% and specificity of 99%.
India and Oman renew MoUs on military cooperation, maritime issues.
