- The Bangladesh government is working to develop a social media platform named Jogajog as an alternative to Facebook.
- The government is also working to develop a communication app Alapan as an alternative to WhatsApp.
- The ICT Ministry has taken the initiative in this direction to make the country self-reliant.
- The platform will help local entrepreneurs to create their own marketplace for information and data sharing without having to depend on any foreign platform.
- The government is working to enhance the capacity of the video conferencing system Boithak from 100 persons to 300 persons.
- The Surokha app for corona vaccination registration is being used successfully in Bangladesh.

Gujarat High Court became the 1st court to start live streaming of proceedings.
- Chief Justice of India N.V. Raman announced that soon steps would be taken to replicate this to some extent in the Supreme Court as well.
- The CJI will also issue the Gujarat High Court (Live Streaming of Court Proceedings) Rules, 2021.
