The world's largest hydrogen fuel cell power plant has been inaugurated in Seo-gu, Incheo, South Korea.
The plant named Shinincheon Bitdream Fuel Cell Power Plant has a total capacity of 78.96 kWh and can provide electricity to nearly 250,000 households per year.
It will be operated by Posco Energy and Doosan Fuel Cell, South Korea's largest independent power generation company.

India's largest aromatic garden has been unveiled at Lalkuan in Nainital district of Uttarakhand.
The park has been developed by the research wing of Uttarakhand Forest Department in an area of 3 acres.
The project is funded under the CAMPA (Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority) scheme of the central government.
The garden houses around 140 different species of aromatic plants from across India like sandalwood, tulsi, parijat, etc.

CBSE launched Veer Gatha Project in schools to raise awareness about gallantry awards. Schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have been asked to prepare projects and engage in activities based on gallantry award winners.
The objective of the Veer Gatha project is to raise awareness among school students about the valiant acts and sacrifices of gallantry award winners.
The Veer Gatha project is being operated from October 21 to November 20.
Projects can be interdisciplinary and in various formats like poems, essays etc.

National Commission for Women (NCW) in collaboration with National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) has launched a legal awareness program for women titled Empowerment of Women through Legal Awareness.
It aims to provide women with practical knowledge about the legal rights and remedies provided under various women-related laws, and hence make them fit to meet the challenges in real life situations.
It is a pan India initiative. It was launched by Hon'ble Justice UU Lalit, Judge of the Supreme Court of India in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier in 2020, NCW in collaboration with NALSA had launched a pilot project Legal Awareness Programme.

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Earth Sciences Dr Jitendra Singh officially launched India's 1st manned ocean mission Samudrayaan Project on October 29, 2021 in Chennai.
Unique Ocean Mission aims to have a deep underwater manned vehicle to carry out sub-sea activities.
The deep-water submersible has been named Matsya 6000.
It has been developed by Chennai-based National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT).
The technology will help in deep sea exploration of non-living resources, such as polymetallic manganese nodules, gas hydrates, hydro-thermal sulfides and cobalt crusts, located at depths of about 1000 and 5500 metres.
With this technology, India has joined the elite club of countries like USA, Russia, Japan, France and China to have such underwater vehicles.
