Mission Samudrayaan set to explore ocean bed by 2025 end.

• Also known as the Deep Ocean Mission, it is aimed at deep ocean exploration and development of deep-sea technology.
• Goal: Develop a manned submersible named MATSYA 6000, capable of carrying 3 crew members to a depth of 6,000 mt in the ocean for deep-sea exploration.
• Implementation: Led by the Ministry of Earth Sciences and carried out by the National Institute of Ocean Technology.

President Murmu conferred with honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law.

• President Droupadi Murmu has been conferred with the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law by the University of Mauritius, demonstrating the depth of bilateral ties.
• During her three-day state visit, she has become the chief guest at the country's National Day celebrations.
• In her address, President Murmu has exhorted Mauritian youth to stay connected with India.

India launched National Speed Breeding Crop Facility in Mohali.

• Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has inaugurated the DBT SPEEDY SEEDS at National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, Mohali.
• The facility has been aimed at supporting the development of climate-resilient crops, benefiting farmers across India, especially in the northern states.
• This aligns with the goal of doubling farmers' income and has bolstered India's bio-economy towards green growth.

• PM Modi has inaugurated the Master Plan of the Gandhi Ashram Memorial, celebrating Sabarmati Ashram's enduring legacy of Gandhi's ideals of truth, nonviolence, and service.
