• Indian Railways sets a record in the Limca Book of Records for hosting the most people at a public service event.
• A massive 40,19,516 people attended the inauguration of railway infrastructure projects by PM Modi on February 26, 2024, at 2,140 venues.
• The record event marked the opening of road over/under railway bridges and the laying of foundation stones for new railway stations.

Reserve Bank of India wins risk manager of the year award 2024.

• RBI awarded Risk Manager of the Year Award 2024 by Central Banking, London, for advancing its risk management practices.
• The award highlights RBI's significant role in ensuring the stability of India's financial system through enhanced risk awareness.

Israel's Navy received new landing craft from US.

• INS Komemiyut, an Israeli Navy landing craft, completed its voyage from Pascagoula, USA, and docked at the Haifa Navy Base.
• This is the second naval landing craft acquired from the US in the last eight months, enhancing Israel's naval capabilities.
• The arrival was marked with a naval "missing" formation in honor of fallen soldiers, highlighting the strategic significance of the new vessel.

India opted out of signing Ukraine Peace Summit Communique.

• India declined to sign a joint communique at a summit in Burgenstock, Switzerland, focused on Ukraine peace, emphasizing need for direct dialogue between Moscow and Kyiv.
• The summit was attended by delegates from over 100 countries.
• Russia was not invited, China didn't attend.
• India’s stance highlighted that resolutions acceptable to both involved parties are essential for lasting peace.

CP PLUS and C-DAC launched AI-Enhanced Thermal Cameras.

• The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) has transferred its state-of-the-art Thermal Smart Camera technology to CP PLUS.
• Developed under the Intelligent Transportation System Endeavor (InTranSE) Program initiated by the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
• This partnership is set to revolutionize the thermal imaging market.
