Kerala topped India's Food Safety Index for second consecutive year.

• Kerala has retained its position as the top state in the State Food Safety Index (SFSI) 2024, marking its second consecutive year at the top.
• Tamil Nadu, Jammu & Kashmir, Gujarat, and Nagaland followed Kerala in the index.
• The parameters that are evaluated includes human resources, institutional data, compliance, food testing facilities, training and capacity building & consumer empowerment.

India attains Tier 1 status in Global Cybersecurity Index 2024.

• India scored 98.49/100, joining the ranks of role-modelling countries in the Global Cybersecurity, as announced by the ITU.
• DoT, led by Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, played a pivotal role in achieving this status, reflecting India's growing cybersecurity framework and digital resilience.
• Initiatives include legal frameworks, CSIRTs, education campaigns, and international collaborations.

Uttarakhand Introduces Law for Protest-Related Damage Recovery.

• The Uttarakhand Public and Private Property Damage Recovery Bill mandates full recovery of damages caused to public property during riots, with fines up to ₹8 lakh.
• Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Gurmit Singh has approved the law.
• The law was first introduced in the form of an ordinance in March after massive damage caused to public property during the riots.

Shubhanshu Shukla: First Indian Astronaut to ISS in 2025.

• Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla of the Indian Air Force will pilot the Axiom-4 mission to the International Space Station in 2025.
• The Ax-4 mission is the result of a collaborative initiative between India and the United States.
• The mission will be commanded by renowned astronaut Peggy Whitson.
• The Indian astronaut will conduct five experiments aboard the ISS as part of the Ax-4 mission.

EaseMyTrip launched ScanMyTrip: India's 1st Travel Marketplace on ONDC.

• EaseMyTrip has introduced ScanMyTrip.com, the first travel marketplace in India integrated with the ONDC Network, enabling online travel agencies, MSMEs, travel agents, and homestays to list services like flights and accommodations.
• This platform aims to expand the reach of small-scale service providers, offering them access to a larger customer base through a streamlined onboarding process.
