  • In Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated Kavacham, an advanced disaster risk warning system.
  • Developed by the State Disaster Management Authority with support from the National Disaster Management Authority and World Bank support, it enhances disaster preparedness.
  • The system includes 91 sirens statewide, emphasizing the importance of heeding warnings.


Centre Launched "Entity Locker" for Business Document Management.

  • GoI introduced Entity Locker, a secure, cloud-based platform by National eGovernance Division under Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology for efficient business document management.
