Kerala CM Launches "Kavacham" Disaster Warning System.

• In Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated Kavacham, an advanced disaster risk warning system.
• Developed by the State Disaster Management Authority with support from the National Disaster Management Authority and World Bank support, it enhances disaster preparedness.
• The system includes 91 sirens statewide, emphasizing the importance of heeding warnings.

Centre Launched "Entity Locker" for Business Document Management.

• GoI introduced Entity Locker, a secure, cloud-based platform by National eGovernance Division under Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology for efficient business document management.
• Key features include Aadhaar-authenticated access, 10 GB encrypted storage, real-time integration with MCA, GSTN, DGFT & legally valid digital signatures.
• Aligned with Digital Public Infra goals.

UNESCO and MeitY Host Consultation on AI Readiness in India.

• UNESCO and MeitY organized the second AI Readiness Assessment Methodology consultation to align India’s AI ecosystem with global ethical guidelines.
• Focused on transparency, the event featured diverse stakeholders and emphasized responsible AI development under the INDIAai Mission.

Trump Unveiled $100B Stargate Venture with OpenAI, SoftBank, Oracle.

• OpenAI, SoftBank, and Oracle, with equity backers, announced Stargate, a $100 billion joint venture aimed at building 20 data centers, each 500,000 sq. ft., creating 100,000+ U.S. jobs.
• The first centers are under construction in Texas, focusing on AI applications in healthcare and beyond.
• Leaders Donald Trump, Son, Sam Altman, and Larry Ellison launched the initiative at the White House.

DPIIT partners with Apna to boost startup talent.

• DPIIT and Apna sign an MoU to provide DPIIT-registered startups with skilled manpower.
• Each of the 7,00,000 entities on Bhaskar gets ₹2,000 in hiring credits on Apna, totaling an initial value of ₹140 crore.
• As the startup ecosystem grows, the initiative’s worth could scale up to ₹300 crore.
• These credits help startups post jobs and access AI-driven talent matching tools.
