PM Modi to Attend Mauritius National Day as Guest of Honour.

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the Guest of Honour at Mauritius’ 57th National Day celebration.
• Mauritius commemorates its National Day on March 12th each year, marking the anniversary of its independence from British rule in 1968.
• President Droupadi Murmu attended Mauritius’ National Day celebrations last year as the chief guest.

India Poised for High-Income Status with $23-35T GDP by 2047.

• India is projected to become a high-income nation by 2047, with GDP estimates ranging from $23–$35 trillion, driven by 8-10% annual growth.
• Key growth drivers include a demographic dividend, tech innovation, and five strategic sectors: electronics, energy, chemicals, automotive, and services.
• The report has been revealed by Bain & Company and Nasscom.

Khajuraho Dance Festival Set Guinness World Record with 24-Hour Dance.

• A record 139 artists danced continuously for 24 hours, 9 minutes, and 26 seconds at the 51st Khajuraho Dance Festival in Madhya Pradesh.
• Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the event, highlighting the spiritual essence of classical dance forms like Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam, and Odissi.
• The Guinness Book team recognized the feat as a world record.

Ayush Ministry sets five Guinness World Records.

• The Desh Ka Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyaan secured five Guinness records, including most health pledges in a week (6M) and month (13.89M).
• It created the largest online photo (62,525) and video (12,798) albums of participants.
• The campaign, launched on Ayurveda Day, exceeded its 1 crore target, conducting 1.29 crore prakriti parikshan.

Madhya Pradesh Leads in Vulture Population Growth.

• In the recent census of vultures conducted by the Forest Department, the number of vultures has increased to 12981.
• The vulture census was conducted in 16 circles, 64 divisions, and 9 protected areas in the state.
• In the 2019 census, the number of vultures was 8 thousand 397, which increased to 10 thousand 845 in 2024.
• A total of 7 species of vultures are found in the state.
