EPFO records highest ever addition of over 20 lakh members in May 2025.

• EPFO reported highest-ever net addition of 20.06 lakh members in May 2025.
• This is the highest since payroll tracking began in April 2018.
• Includes 2.62 lakh female members and 5.60 lakh in the 18–25 age group.
• Reflects a 4.79% increase over April 2025 payroll additions.
• Data released by the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

Centre launches SASCI scheme to develop iconic tourist destinations.

• SASCI: Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment – Development of Iconic Tourist Centres to Global Scale.
• Aims to transform select tourist destinations into globally competitive sites.
• Centre will fund projects till March 31, 2026; States will implement & manage them.
• Each project to be completed within two years.

India’s Tea Exports in FY 2024-25 Show Moderate but Promising Growth.

• India’s tea exports grew by 2.85% in FY 2024–25.
