India's First Mining Tourism Project To Be Launched In Jharkhand.

  • Jharkhand will become the first Indian state to introduce mining tourism.
  • The initiative was announced by Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
  • It was inspired by his visit to the Gava Museum of Mines in Barcelona, which showcased Neolithic mining relics.
  • A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), a subsidiary of Coal India.


UP Cabinet approves 1% stamp duty exemption for women on property.

  • The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved a 1% discount in stamp duty on property worth up to one crore rupees, if it is purchased in the name of a woman.
  • Earlier, only properties up to ₹10 lakh were eligible with maximum ₹10,000 relief.
  • Aimed at increasing female ownership, financial empowerment, and societal respect.


US House passes Genius Act to regulate dollar-pegged stablecoins.

  • US President Donald Trump signed the GENIUS Act, creating the first federal framework for stablecoins pegged to the US dollar.
  • Stablecoins are blockchain-based digital currencies that aim to maintain a stable value, usually by being pegged to fiat currencies like the USD.
  • It will now be federally regulated under the GENIUS Act and must be supervised and audited under US laws.


Bharat NCX 2025 commences to bolster Indias cybersecurity preparedness.

  • Bharat NCX 2025 (National Cybersecurity Exercise) was officially inaugurated.
  • Organized by the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) in collaboration with Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU).
