India to Host First Asia Pacific Accident Investigation Group Meeting.
- India will host the Asia Pacific Accident Investigation Group (APAC-AIG) meeting and workshop for the first time.
- The event, organized by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, will bring together 90 representatives from ICAO member states and global aviation experts.
- Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Rammohan Naidu, will inaugurate the event.
Uttarakhand to Implement Automated Green Tax for Vehicles from Dec'25.
- Uttarakhand will introduce a green tax starting December 2025 on all vehicles entering the state from outside, focusing on environmental conservation and pollution control.
- The tax aims to protect the Himalayan ecosystem and reduce vehicular emissions in popular tourist spots like Dehradun, Mussoorie, Nainital, and Rishikesh.
- The green tax will be collected digitally using ANPR cameras.

- Reliance Industries and Meta Platforms have announced a ₹855 crore joint venture named Reliance Enterprise Intelligence Limited (REIL) to develop enterprise-grade AI products.
- The venture will focus on AI-driven automation tools, predictive analytics, customer service chatbots, and generative AI models tailored for Indian businesses and selected global markets.
FIFA Announces New ASEAN Cup to Boost Southeast Asian Football.
- FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced the launch of the FIFA ASEAN Cup at the 47th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur.
- The tournament will feature national teams from all 11 ASEAN member states, including East Timor.
- FIFA, in collaboration with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), and national football associations, will work to develop the tournament.
China Sets Record with CR450 High-Speed Train, Reaches 453 km/h.
- China’s CR450 high-speed train achieved a world record speed of 453 km/h during testing, cementing China's leadership in rail transport technology.
- The CR450 is designed for the Shanghai–Chengdu corridor and is expected to enter commercial service in 2026 with a regular operating speed of 400 km/h, making it the fastest passenger train globally.
