Japan Launches World’s First Yen-Pegged Stablecoin, JPYC.

• Japan officially launched JPYC, the world’s first yen-pegged stablecoin, on October 27, 2025, marking a significant step in its digital finance evolution.
• The stablecoin is fully backed by Japanese yen and government bonds (JGBs), offering zero transaction fees during its initial rollout.
• JPYC is a blockchain-based digital token designed to maintain a 1:1 value with the Japanese yen.

3rd Edition of Pravasi Parichay Cultural Fest by Indian Embassy.

• The Embassy of India in Riyadh is organizing the third edition of Pravasi Parichay, a week-long cultural festival, 2025, at the embassy’s auditorium.
• Since its inception in 2023, Pravasi Parichay has become a key initiative to showcase India’s diverse cultural heritage, bringing together the Indian diaspora community in Saudi Arabia.

NCERT Signs MoU with IIT-Madras to Boost EdTech and Research.
