• Uber has announced a strategic partnership with Nvidia to deploy 100,000 autonomous robotaxis starting in 2027, marking a major shift in urban mobility.
• The initiative will utilize Nvidia’s DRIVE AGX Hyperion 10 platform, enabling Level 4 autonomy for self-driving vehicles in controlled environments.
• Uber will oversee the operations of the fleet.

India Exports First-Ever GI-Tagged Indi and Puliyankudi Limes to UK.

• APEDA facilitated the first-ever air shipment of GI-tagged Indi and Puliyankudi Limes to the United Kingdom.
• The shipment includes 350 kg of Indi Lime from Vijayapura, Karnataka and 150 kg of Puliyankudi Lime from Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu.
• The 500 kg consignment marks a major step in expanding India's GI-tagged horticultural produce globally.

Punjab Cabinet Approves New Building Rules and vice versa.

• Punjab Unified Building Rules, 2025 approved, allowing stilt-plus-four floors construction in all new residential areas in urban Punjab.
• Punjab Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Counselling and Rehabilitation Centres Rules, 2025 replaces 2011 rules, addressing shortcomings and strengthening regulation of 36 government and 177 licensed private de-addiction centres.

Punjab Launches Second Phase of Mukhya Mantri Teerth Yatra Yojna.

• Mukhya Mantri Teerth Yatra Yojna (Phase II) launched in Punjab, dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
• The yatra is open to all castes, religions, and regions, with eligibility for devotees aged 50 and above.
• Pilgrims will visit sacred sites in Amritsar including Sri Harmandir Sahib, Durgiana Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, and Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Sthal.
