India Unveils AI Governance Guidelines for Safe Innovation.

• The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology launched the India AI Governance Guidelines under the IndiaAI Mission to promote safe, ethical, and inclusive AI adoption.
• Released by Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, the framework outlines seven guiding Sutras, six governance pillars & phased action plans.
• Aims to balance innovation with accountability ahead of the India–AI Impact Summit 2026.

INS Sahyadri Joins Exercise Malabar 2025 at Guam, North Pacific.

• Exercise Malabar 2025 is the 28th edition of multilateral naval exercise involving India, U.S., Japan & Australia under the Quad framework.
• INS Sahyadri, an indigenously built Guided Missile Stealth Frigate, represents India at Exercise Malabar 2025 in Guam, Northern Pacific.
• The exercise includes a Harbour Phase for planning and a Sea Phase featuring joint fleet, ASW& gunnery operations.

IEPFA Empowers Rural Women Through Financial Awareness Drive.

• Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority, under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, held an Investor Education Workshop for rural women SHGs in Karnal, Haryana, themed Viksit Bharat ke path par Saksham Naari.
• In collaboration with SEBI, AMFI, NCAER, and HSRLM, the event promoted financial literacy, safe investment, and digital inclusion.

INS Savitri Arrived Port Louis, Mauritius as a part of Op. Deployment.

• INS Savitri is an indigenously built Offshore Patrol Vessel, built by Mazagon Dock Ltd, Mumbai, and commissioned on 7 June 1990.
• It operates under the Eastern Naval Command based at Visakhapatnam.
• The ship performs aerial surveillance, search-rescue & patrol operations.
• It has a top speed of 15 knots & is equipped with a 40×60 Bofors Gun & a helicopter deck for Chetak helicopter operations.

National Urban Conclave 2025: Driving Sustainable City Governance.

• Union Minister Manohar Lal inaugurated National Urban Conclave 2025 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, themed Sustainable Urban Development and Governance.
• Launched key initiatives: Dumpsite Remediation Accelerator Programme, Urban Invest Window (UiWIN), Swachh Bharat KM Unit & Jal Hi Janani.
• DRAP targets 214 major dumpsites holding 80% of legacy waste; event hosts 2500+ experts & policymakers.
