Govt Launches Market Access Support for Exporters.

• GoI launched the Market Access Support Intervention under the Export Promotion Mission to boost global market access for Indian exporters.
• Implemented under NIRYAT DISHA, MAS targets MSMEs, first-time exporters and priority sectors through BSMs, trade fairs, RBSMs and overseas delegations.
• The scheme mandates 35% MSME participation, offers airfare support to small exporters.

Delhi to Launch AI-Powered Unified Grievance System.

• Delhi government will roll out an AI-based Unified Grievance Redressal System with IIT Kanpur to speed up complaint resolution and enable real-time monitoring.
• The platform will merge PGMS, LG Listening Post, CPGRAMS and other portals into one dashboard using semantic search, auto-routing, and root-cause analysis.
• IIT Kanpur will manage integration, cybersecurity and maintenance.

MoSPI Unveils New Logo and Mascot.

• Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation launched a new logo and mascot on January 1, 2026, to modernise its identity and strengthen public outreach.
• The logo highlights Data for Development, featuring the Ashoka Chakra, ₹ symbol, growth bar and national colours to reflect transparency, governance and data-driven growth.
• The mascot is named सांख्यिकी.

DoP–SIDBI MoU to Verify Informal Enterprises.

• Department of Posts and Small Industries Development Bank of India signed an MoU to verify Informal Micro Enterprises on the Udyam Assist Platform.
• India Post will carry out nationwide, geo-tagged Contact Point Verification using its vast postal network and field staff.
• SIDBI will provide the CPV mobile app, systems and training to ensure data accuracy and enable easier access to credit.

India's broadband subscriber count surpasses 100 crore.

• In November 2025, India’s broadband subscriber base crossed 100 crore.
• This marks a six-fold growth over the last decade.
• Reflects India’s rapid digital transformation.
• Highlights the success of policies aimed at expanding internet access nationwide.
