• World No. 4 Novak Djokovic defeated Botic van de Zandschulp 6‑3, 6‑4, 7‑6 at the Australian Open, achieving 400 career Grand Slam singles victories.
• He is the first player to reach this milestone, ahead of Federer (369) and Nadal (314), with no active rival past 200 wins.
• The victory was also his 102nd at the Australian Open, tying Federer’s record for most men’s singles wins in Melbourne.

Singapore Announces $785 Million Investment in AI Research by 2030.

• Singapore is set to invest S$1 billion ($785 million) in public AI research by 2030, bolstering global competitiveness and tech leadership.

• Army Chief Gen Upendra Dwivedi launched Red Lines Redrawn: Operation Sindoor and India’s New Normal at India International Centre, Delhi.

Foundation for ₹450 Crore Matabari Tourism Circuit Laid in Tripura.

• Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia laid the foundation for ₹450 crore Matabari Tourism Circuit at Dumbur, linking Tripura Sundari Temple, Chabimura, & Dumbur Lake.
• The project, with ₹276 crore from DoNER, will add jetties, eco-resorts, & modern tourism facilities, fostering spiritual & eco-tourism in Tripura.
• The ceremony also saw the announcement of ₹750 crore in new development projects.
