- Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu distributed 5,555 e-cycles to women within 24 hours, setting a Guinness World Record.
- He said e-cycles save ₹1,000–1,500 per month, promote green mobility and boost women’s confidence.
- The Kuppam-assembled e-cycles run up to 60 km and can be charged via rooftop solar power.
CCRAS, Berhampur University Joined to Digitize Ayurvedic Manuscripts.
- CCRAS and Berhampur University, Odisha, partnered to digitize 2,000+ rare Ayurvedic palm-leaf manuscripts from SOCSC, boosting global accessibility.
- The NIIMH Hyderabad will lead digitization, metadata to be hosted on AMAR Portal, & select manuscripts will be transcribed, translated, & published.

NYPS 2.0 portal unveiled for wider youth participation.
- Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs launched the upgraded National Youth Parliament Scheme (NYPS 2.0) portal to expand youth engagement nationwide.
- NYPS 2.0 allows participation by institutions, groups & individuals, including citizens from remote and rural areas.
- Since September 2024, over 95,000 participants have taken part through 4,400+ institutions and multiple youth parliament sittings.
Defence PSU Yantra India Ltd gets Miniratna-I status.
- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh approved Miniratna Category-I status for Yantra India Limited, recognising its rapid transformation into a profit-making DPSU.
- YIL recorded strong growth, with sales rising to ₹3,108.79 cr in FY 2024-25 & exports reaching ₹321.77 cr.
- Miniratna-I status allows YIL to invest up to ₹500 crore without government approval, boosting indigenisation & defence exports.
