Digital Bharat Nidhi and Andhra Pradesh Ink Pact For BharatNet Rollout.

• Digital Bharat Nidhi and Andhra Pradesh signed an MoU for expedited rollout of the Amended BharatNet Programme, a $16.9B (₹1.39 lakh crore) mission to bring OFC broadband to every village.
• Ensures state support for right of way, infra access aiming to digitally empower rural Andhra Pradesh.
• Maximize socio-economic gains & digital inclusion by serving government, businesses across the state.

Residential Complex at Karwar Base under Project Seabird Inaugurated.

• Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan inaugurated new accommodation for senior sailors (60 units) and defence civilians (240 units) at Naval Base Karwar, part of Project Seabird Phase IIA.
• Project Seabird Phase IIA supports future berthing for ships/submarines, includes a dockyard, dry berths, Naval Air Station, and logistics, accommodating 10,000+ personnel and families.

• Interventions under Niryat Disha:
• Trade Regulations, Accreditation & Compliance Enablement (TRACE) Facilitating Logistics, Overseas Warehousing & Fulfilment (FLOW)
• Logistics Interventions for Freight & Transport (LIFT)
• Integrated Support for Trade Intelligence & Facilitation (INSIGHT)
• With this launch, 10 out of the 11 proposed interventions under EPM are now operational.

India Unveils PRAHAAR: New National Counter-Terrorism Policy.

• The Ministry of Home Affairs launched the PRAHAAR policy—a comprehensive, proactive national strategy targeting evolving terror threats with a whole-of-government & society approach.
• It covers Prevention, swift Response, Aggregation of capacities, Human rights & Rule of Law, Attenuation of radicalisation, Alignment with international efforts, and Recovery/resilience.

Health Minister Nadda Inaugurates "Advantage Health Care – India 2026".

• The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) organised the 8th edition of Advantage Healthcare India (AHCI) from 23-25th Feb 2026 in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
• Inaugurated by Health Minister JP Nadda.
• It is Asia’s largest event on Medical Value Travel & featured an exhibition, conference, & Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet.
