RBI Opens Bhubaneswar Data Centre, Enhancing Security from Threats.

• The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has built a high-security data centre in Odisha, away from border conflict zones & major seismic risk areas, boosting critical financial infrastructure resilience.
• Supports currency management, payment & settlement, and regulatory functions, strengthening operational continuity.
• It is RBI’s 2nd core data hub after Navi Mumbai.

PMAY-U 2.0 Approves 2.88 Lakh Additional Houses, 96% Women Holders.

• The 6th Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee meeting sanctioned 2.88 lakh new houses under PM Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0, bringing total approvals to 13.61 lakh, targeting urban EWS, LIG, and MIG families across 16 States/UTs.
• 96% of houses are allotted to women or as joint ownership, with special allocations for widows, unmarried women, transgenders, senior citizens, SC/ST, and OBCs.

MSME Ministry Holds SC-ST Hub Mega Awareness Programme in Itanagar.

• The Ministry of MSME organized a National SC-ST Hub Awareness Programme in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, to promote entrepreneurship and showcase central schemes for MSMEs.
• The entrepreneurs also had opportunity to get Udyam Registration.
• During the event, Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) at Jote was inaugurated which has been built with the assistance Ministry of MSME.

National Arogya Fair 2026 in Shegaon to Showcase India’s Diverse Ayush.

• The Ministry of Ayush will host the National Arogya Fair 2026 (Feb 25–28) in Shegaon, Maharashtra, featuring Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa, and Homoeopathy under one roof.
• Inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu, the event offers free health check-ups, consultations, demonstrations, exhibitions, & sessions on agroforestry & medicinal plant cultivation for farmers.

Liver Transplant Unit, Robotic Surgery Inaugurated: AIIMS Bhubaneshwar.

• Health Minister JP Nadda virtually inaugurated Odisha’s first comprehensive Liver Transplant Unit & a Robotic Surgery System at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, marking a healthcare milestone for eastern India.
• Enable advanced organ transplantation, world-class minimally invasive surgery, benefiting patients in Odisha & neighboring states.
• Align with vision for organ donation & healthcare innovation.
