Government Notifies Full Foreign Investment in Insurance Industry.

  • India notified 100% FDI in the insurance sector under the automatic route.
  • Applies to domestic insurance companies and intermediaries; LIC FDI remains capped at 20%.
  • Foreign investments require compliance with IRDAI regulations and RBI/FEMA guidelines.
