  • A total of 108 countries have been ranked in this index.
  • India's rank among these 108 countries is 64th.
  • The company attributed India's decline in rank to the low level of digital and physical infrastructure in India.
  • This index is prepared on the basis of 4 indicators.
  • In this index, Denmark is first, Netherlands is second, Germany is third and Spain is fourth.
  • No Asian country is included in the top 10.


Multilateral joint naval exercise, MILAN, 2024 will be organized in Visakhapatnam.

  • The Indian Navy has recently announced that the multilateral joint naval exercise, MILAN, 2024 will be conducted at Visakhapatnam.
  • MILAN – 2024 will be held in February, 2024.
  • It will be organized by the Eastern Command of the Indian Navy.
  • Indian Naval units along with allied ships, maritime patrol aircraft and submarines will participate in the sea phase.
  • These will include large-scale maneuvers, advanced air defense operations, anti-submarine warfare and anti-surface warfare operations.
  • Navies of more than 50 countries will participate in this exercise.
  • MILAN joint military exercise is conducted by the Indian Navy every 2 years.
