AIIMS Delhi for trials: India develops first indigenous MRI machine.

• India has developed its first indigenous Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine, set to be installed at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
• The move aims to reduce treatment costs and reliance on imported medical devices, as 80-85 percent of equipment is currently imported.

NNM Deemed University to introduce Buddhist AI with help of Malaysia.

• The Nava Nalanda Mahavihara Deemed University (NNM) in Bihar will soon introduce a Buddhist Artificial Intelligence (AI) with the help of Malaysia.
• The NNM is a trusted institution under the Union Ministry of Culture which is engaged in promoting academic activities in Buddhist Studies and several languages like Pali, Sanskrit, Tibetan studies, Chinese, Japanese and others.

SC Sets up Task Force to Address Student Suicides.

• The Supreme Court has set up a national task force to address students’ mental health concerns and prevent suicides in higher educational institutions.
• The Supreme Court noted that student suicides in higher educational institutions, including IITs, have increased, surpassing the number of farmer suicides due to agrarian distress.

Meghalaya Hosts 7th Act East Business Show.

• The Government of Meghalaya, in collaboration with the Indian Chamber of Commerce, is organising the 7th ACT EAST BUSINESS SHOW at the State Convention Centre, Shillong.
• This flagship event aims to foster stronger economic and trade relations between BBIN (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and Nepal) and ASEAN nations.

Digital Crop Survey System Launched for Accurate Data Collection.

• Ministry of Agriculture launched the Digital Crop Survey System to collect real-time crop data through mobile interfaces, ensuring accurate production estimations.
• The Agri Stack system follows data protection laws, prioritizing privacy and security of farmers' information.
• Digital inclusion is supported through FPOs, Krishi Sakhis & CSCs, ensuring access for farmers without mobile phones.
